Description

The new Type EX Energy Efficient Low Voltage Dry-Type Distribution Transformers comply with the new levels of efficiency. Components used within Schneider Electric™ transformers were optimized for performance, including a computer designed coil to reduce the losses with customized wire configurations used exclusively by Schneider Electric. The system consists of a conductor wrap or coating, layer insulation, air gap spacing, and varnish material. The system is UL listed for a specific maximum temperature for average temperature rise, hot spot, and ambient temperature. This DOE 2016 energy efficient transformer is a low voltage electrical distribution, 3 phases, with an operating power rating of 30 kVA@60 Hz. This transofrmer has a natural convection cooling system. With a Primary voltage of 480V delta, and an implied withstand voltage of 10kV. With an efficiency rating of 98.36 % and a load factor of 35 % at ambient temperature of 75.0 °C. Dimensions for this unit are 897 mm(H),533 mm(W),648 mm(D) and weighs 152 kg. This unit complies to UL, CSA & NEMA standards.
